Taper vs CT?

So I just bought 2 tins this morning and the plan is to make them last a week. Then switch to 6 then 4mg gum then eventually 2mg gum and finally buying a bunch of regular gum at dollar tree and alternating with the 2mg till I can jump off with minimum withdrawal. But, I also have a prescription for seroquel and gabapentin thinking that might make cold turkey a bit easier. I would ideally like to jump off on June 1st which would make 30 days off weed and opiods for me. The plan is to basically put what i need for the day in an old tin and leave the rest in the trunk of my car or something. I haven't really been using nicotine very long maybe 4 months or so. Should I just bite the bullet? My job sucks and I plan on getting a new one and I get my PTO back on June 15th so I'm thinking maybe I'll just taper till then and quit when the world cup starts and take 3 days off to watch it and distract myself. I also have ADHD so can't really afford to make stupid mistakes at work. Is this a better ideal than CT? The things are so cheap I see no real reason to rush the taper but, i also want my dopamine functioning as much as possible before I decide whether to get on adhd meds or not

So I was diagnosed with ADHD as a kid and ditched my meds after high school. I'm 38 now looking to get on proper medication but want to be clean for awhile first. I was wondering if anything might help rebuild my brain chemistry a bit quicker than just waiting it out. I'm coming off opiods and pot for the most part and also trying to quit nicotine without wanting to die. Any suggestions appreciated.
