I have 2 keikes that have been growing on an orchid for about a year. Mother plant has few roots after being repotted and I found many had been rotted up to the base because of the foam plug that it originally came on. Each baby has 2 roots and one has several leaves. Should I remove the babies and their spikes so mother plant can focus its energy on growing new healthy roots?
