I-485 question: Do I need to disclose a no-citation fender bender?

**I-485 question: Do I need to disclose a no-citation fender bender?**

Filing my I-485 soon and stuck on the criminal/citation questions. Hoping someone with experience can weigh in.

**The situation:**

- Minor two-car accident at an intersection earlier this year

- Property damage only, no injuries

- I was NOT cited, arrested, charged, or fined

- Both drivers said they thought they had the green light

- Police came, made a report, gave us both "accident case cards," and that was it

- Insurance handled everything

**What's on my record:**

- My state MVR shows the accident, but explicitly notes that listing it "does not necessarily mean the individual was at fault or given a citation"

- The police report lists my "driver action" as "failure to obey traffic controls" — but again, no citation was issued

**My question:**

Strictly reading the I-485 questions (arrested, cited, charged, detained, convicted, committed a crime), none apply. But the I-485 instructions also say documentation is required for traffic incidents involving property damage.

For those who've been through this:

  1. Did you disclose a similar no-citation accident?

  2. If yes, did you just attach the police report + a short statement?

  3. Did it come up at the interview?

Not looking for legal advice — just experiences from people who've actually been through AOS with something similar on their record. Thanks!

My 2015 Acura TLX Base showed the backup camera like it was in Reverse, but the car would not actually move backward when I pressed the gas. I turned the car off, restarted it, and then it worked normally.

No warning lights and it has only happened once. Has anyone seen this before? Does this sound like an electronic shifter issue, interlock issue, or transmission problem?
