[TOMT] German children's audio play / musical from the late 90s about the missing sun and a frozen world

I’m looking for a German children’s audio play or musical from the late 90s or early 2000s and at this point I’m seriously doubting my own memory 😄 Maybe it’s some kind of Mandela effect or maybe I mixed multiple stories together.

This is what I remember:

• The sun had disappeared or was hiding
• Because of that, the world became frozen/cold
• The main character was, I think, a boy or girl traveling alone on a journey
• Along the way they asked different people/characters where the sun could be
• I vaguely remember the sun maybe being able to speak at the end
• The atmosphere felt more dark/melancholic than funny
• I think there were songs/music in it
• It could have been a cassette, radio play, or even a recorded theater/musical production
• I specifically remember listening to it on a cassette radio, but maybe my memory is fooling me

It was NOT The Snow Queen and probably also not The Theft of the Midnight Sun / Der Raub der Mitternachtssonne.

Does this sound familiar to anyone or did my brain invent this whole thing? 😄
