Should I get a second vehicle at 17?
As of right now, I’ve been driving a Chevrolet Avalanche with 85k miles for about a year and a half. For the most part it’s reliable, but does have its downs from time to time. I’m thinking about buying a cheap secondary vehicle for when my truck needs to go to the shop, that way I’m not stranded. I’m thinking maybe a Buick lesabre since a few of my buds have had good experiences with them, and they’re VERY cheap in my area (I saw one for 3k with about 77k miles). I’m 17 and will be paying for my truck once I turn 18- insurance, repairs, etc. is it a good or bad idea to buy a second vehicle?
