Numbers Not Raised to Whole Numbers
I can understand that a number raised to a whole number is simply that number multiplied by itself repeatedly.
Like 2^4 is just (2) x (2) x (2) x (2).
But if it’s something like 2^(4.5), how do you represent that in a way that’s similar to the repeated multiplication?
Is there a geometric representation that I can use to figure out what this means?
