I got the job of my dreams, but I can’t make it on the first day because I have a very important echocardiogram appointment. I realized after getting the offer that it was scheduled for the same day. It was extremely difficult to get this appointment, and the next available one wouldn’t be for a few months. I’ve been having pretty serious heart problems, so I really can’t postpone it.

My recruiter mentioned that since this is a group training class, they are going to be very strict about the start date, which is why I’m so worried.

Now I don’t know what to tell my recruiter. I’m honestly
really stressed and not sure what to do. The appointment is at 3 PM and takes about an hour, so it’s not like I can just attend part of the day.

Any advice?
