Hello whoever is reading…

I am currently a CFI (working on MEL CFII have Checkrides soon) and just don’t know where to go from here. Got around 100 dual given and 400ish total.

My end goal is like many… fly bigger plane. I have no preference on airlines cargo private scheduled unscheduled etc I just like to fly—- if I can get paid well to do that… I am even happier.

However, I think I might not be a good flight school candidate. I work well with a very select kind of person that “learns from insult”. That’s how I learn.

I need someone telling me I suck to do better but I totally understand that that’s a weird and relatively uncommon trait to have. All of my dual given has been with personal friends or someone they knew. And I have ensured that they are okay with my personality.

I am not rude or condescending. I know where I am on the ladder but I just can’t get out of the mindset of automatically going “let me make a joke. that’ll help them.”

I am thinking I am not compatible with enough personalities to get the experience that I want in a respectable amount of time. I can deal with all kinds of people , but if I had a student that I’ll see for months then my “roasting” learning style will surely creep out eventually.
