Hi everyone! 👋

I’m currently looking into rent-to-own condos near PGH, and I’d really appreciate your advice/experiences.

A bit about me: I’m a graduating student, and this will be a grad gift from my parents. However, I’ll be the one continuing the payments once I start working. I also have a small Pomeranian, so pet-friendly condos are a must 🐶

  1. How do you find a good rent-to-own condo?

    • Any recommended areas or buildings near PGH?

    • Red flags to watch out for (agents, developers, contracts)?

  2. What’s the usual process?

From reservation to move-in to ownership—how does it typically go in the Philippines?

  1. Pros and cons?

    • Is rent-to-own actually worth it vs renting or bank financing?

    • Hidden costs I should expect?

I’m still new to this, so any tips, personal experiences, or “what I wish I knew before” would really help 🙏

Thank you!!
