Need help with shaving and skin care on T

So I just started a low dose of T, and for reasons related to career it is very important I keep it a secret that I am a trans guy. I am already pretty masculine presenting even though I'm not out, I work out a ton, and my voice is already kind of deep, so I'm not too worried about people clocking me based on strength increase or voice lowering.

My main concern is acne from oily skin, and potentially razor burn, skin irritation, and ingrown hairs once I get facial hair (if I do on a low dose that is). I've never had acne before so I'm worried if I suddenly have a bunch of acne and skin irritations on my face, combined with other changes, people I work with will suspect I am either on testosterone or steroids, which would damage my career.

Razors tend to irritate my face, but the shaving creams I have tried seem like they don't help a ton and also mess up the razor blades by getting caked in there. Should I just use oil? Are there any aftershaves in particular that have helped you guys? I have already started to use an acne wash to try to stay ahead of the problem, but is there anything else I should be doing to prevent/mitigate acne and skin issues? And advice is much appreciated.

I got my first dose of testosterone surprisingly fast

Hey, I'm new here, but I just wanted to share how I went about getting my testosterone prescription in case anyone wants a recommendation. I used Plume, and it was incredibly quick, straight-forward and easy. Disclaimer: Plume does cost $100 per month. But virtual appointments and consultations as well as access to few other things are included in that.

I finally decided to go on testosterone about 2 weeks ago, after wanting it for a couple years. I was initially skeptical and nervous about paying a $100 subscription for Plume because I was worried there would be hidden costs or that they just wouldn't really do anything and it would end up being a waste of money. But I caved and got it because it was cheaper than some other options I was seeing.

The on boarding process was really quick and simple, and I was able to schedule a consultation appointment right away for the next week (all appointments are online I think). The appointment was like 30-45 minutes long, and it was very quick and to the point, with basically no beating around the bush. I said I wanted a testosterone prescription, and the doctor immediately made me a prescription after discussing my transitioning goals and how fast I wanted to go (I am micro dosing). Two days later I picked up the testosterone from the pharmacy of my choosing and I took my first dose today.

Obviously everyone's timeline isn't gonna be exactly the same based on appointment openings and different providers, but I just thought I'd share this in case it helps anyone. Over all I got my first T dose like 2 weeks after deciding I would get one.
