Picked up this Dominican Republic Mauser short rifle (carbine?) in 7mm today at a gun show for $425 for my Latin American collection. Was looking to see if someone could shed some more info on it. Most of the info I find online relates to the rifle length version refurbished from 1908 Brazilians. I would imagine the acquisition of these was similar to those, but any info will be appreciated.
