Hello,

I've searched but couldn't find something about using tracing wheel. So here's the idea I'm planning to do a sashiko that's more like a painting (one of those koi fish in water designs) I got this idea if I print it, fix the paper on fabric and go over with the tracing wheel I'll basically get evenly spaced needle holes ready to stitch design. Or that's what I'm thinking.

I haven't seen this idea discussed anywhere so maybe I'm overlooking something. What do you guys think? Would this work?
