Has anyone financed a Google Pixel 10 through Synchrony Financial using one of those Google email discounts?

Hey all, trying to sanity check a mixed drivetrain setup and would appreciate some real-world input.

Current setup (Lauf Seigla Core Transmission):

• SRAM S1000 Eagle Transmission derailleur AXS wireless (stock on Lauf Seigla Core Transmission equal to GX Eagle AXS)
• SRAM XS-1299 Eagle Transmission cassette (10–52T)
• SRAM T-Type chain
• DT Swiss 350 hub with XDR driver

Planned change:

• SRAM Rival X-Sync 42T chainring (8-bolt, 6.5 mm offset, road/gravel)

From what I understand:

• T-Type chains can run on SRAM AXS road/XPLR chainrings
• But those chainrings aren’t Transmission-specific, flattop vs T Type I think!

So my questions:

1. Has anyone run a setup like this (Transmission cassette + T-Type chain + XPLR/road chainring)?
2. Any issues with chain retention, noise, or wear over time?
3. Is there a noticeable downside vs using a proper T-Type chainring?

Not worried about “official compatibility” as much as real-world performance.

Appreciate any experience or insight
