I bought a 11" carplay tablet about 2 years ago on amazon and when it works I love it. It does android auto, dashcam and a reverse camera all in one. The dashcam was great when someone rear-ended me in traffic and claimed I reversed into them. The reason I went with a tablet is that I drive a 91 ls400 and I want to retail the factory radio (just connect over aux).
About every 7 months ill end up with a new a tablet the old one will die in some way, 2 of them would randomly disconnect and re-connect constantly and another one just stopped showing reverse. I always get a warranty with them so they just get returned/swapped out.
Does anyone know of a tablet that offers these functions that does suck, I really don't mind paying more at this point, it appears all the sellers on amazon are re-brands of an alibaba unit and I cant do a 4th one of these
