Im still in disbelief… I PASSED with 3AT. 😭

That exam was grueling. Towards the end, I was on pure autopilot just trying to finish. At one point I was literally thinking, “I never want to do this again.” SO relieved it’s over. By the end, I genuinely had no idea if I had passed or failed.

Huge thank you to this group, your tips mattered more than you know.

Test center experience:
I’m super sensitive to noise, but it was actually very quiet. I got there ~30 mins early and they let me start right away.

Small things that made a BIG difference:

  • Adjust your chair, the monitor was weirdly high
  • Zoom in, the text felt small
  • Got the foam earpieces:
    • Looked up tips on how to use them effectively a day before as I had never used them before
  • Plan breaks (no food/water allowed at desk, only during breaks)
  • Do the 25Q PMP sample test beforehand → helps a LOT with familiarizing with format/UI

TIME MANAGEMENT (this saved me):
I struggled with timing in mocks, so I wrote checkpoints as soon as I sat down:

180 → 230
150 → 190
120 → 155
90 → 115
60 → 80
30 → 40

I ended up finishing with 5 minutes left

Study approach:

  • Live PMP course (Feb) for 35 hours
  • PMI Study Hall (most helpful)
    • Mocks: 69, 70, 74
  • AR 200 Ultra Hard Questions

Exam itself:

  • No drag & drop
  • Heavy on agile
  • several multiple choice
  • a few EVM calcs
  • a graph

Honestly, felt slightly easier than Study Hall. Most questions were short (1-2 lines). Some very easy, some confusing.

If you’re in the trenches right now YOU GOT THIS!!!!!

If you have any questions, let me know, happy to help!

Hey guys,

For those who have taken the exam at a test center, are you allowed to keep a bottle of water at your desk during the exam?

My exam is on Thursday, and I wanted to check if water is only allowed during breaks or if you can drink during the exam as well.

I tend to get thirsty pretty often, so just trying to plan ahead in case water isn’t allowed at the desk.
