HELP redness and irritation in eye
I'm a beginner lash tech and my client told me one of her eyes was swollen and red and in pain. We were going to do a removal and she said it wasn't as swollen and not in pain anymore, but that it was just red now. I don't think this is a case of chemical burn as it didnt affect both eyes, and not a case of the eyepad irritating her eye because her eye was swollen. I think it could of been that the placement of some lashes was touching the skin causing this irritation, but she said she does not want to do the removal right now because she is no longer in pain but will see for the redness. I think the redness is normal in some cases depending on intensity of lash adhesive, however just to be safe a removal might still be necessary. Is It realistic for something like this to happen? If she doesn't get them removed and feels fine, would it be safe to proceed? I offered my biggest apologies as it was a free set, but im not sure if I feel comfortable with the lashes still on her even though she says she does not feel any irritation or pain anymore. Thanks!
