I hit a curb really bad but nothing happened when I did so whem I got to my destination I got out and checked the side I hit. The strut seemed okay wasnt leaking. I picked the boot up and a piece of foam fell out. What is this is it time for replacement struts?

2012 ford escape limited 191,000 miles struts were replaced in 2021.
