I recently haven’t been able to make my monthly base payments, and have fallen into delinquency. The calls have been twice a day, every day. I know I need to pick up, but I’m trying to save some money to put into paying loans off. Every time I answer, they say the only way to do anything is to pay the full amount of my missed payments that instant—i literally cannot afford it.

Now they’re calling my family, people who I’m not even related to—my literal fathers first wife!!I’ve never even met her, she’s in no way related to me—my dad married her 45 years ago & hasn’t contacted her in 10 years!

I’m wondering if that’s illegal? They mentioned debts and that they’re Sallie Mae to her—I’m just confused on where to start I guess?
