For internationals living in Belgium, how long did it take to get the Social security number. I am moving to Leuven soon but need a bank account for the housing deposit, which requires a Social security number for them to validate my account. They said that I should get the number when I register at the townhall but there is some police check involved. Please can someone tell me what is the way? It would be really helpful.

I am almost 4 months post op from my ACL reconstruction using a synthetic graft and meniscus repair and have been actively in rehab with Physio help. I got the strength and endurance test done today and my right leg(surgical) is within 10-15% of my left leg. Also, I have achieved full range of motion as well. My Physio said it is very good progress and I can start running, however my doctor had recommended brisk walking to start with slowly. I need help from you guys on the exact way to discuss and move forward. For people who get back to running and dynamic activities- what should I do to get back to sports stronger and better from here?
