Do you need to know the category/standard, mode, bandwidth and distance for each kind of cable? Is there an easy way to remember that easily?

I have 10 years IT experience but have only been in technician roles. I am learning networking with hands-on experience like home labbing, packet tracer and studying net+ contents. I really just don’t want to get certs so what’s a way to get into networking without any certifications?

Can I configure and test the airMAX NanoBeam 5AC antennas within my home writing my own homes WiFi and then deploy them at another site or do they need to be configured on the WiFi that they will be deployed on?
