What’s this little beetle?
Black head and black thorax, brown slightly shiny abdomen.
I’ve been saving them from my pool. My bug ID app has said:
Dichotomius carolinus
Yellow thighed stag beetle
Sehirus cinctus
-all of which seem very wrong. I used to be impressed by my app (Bug ID) but am often disappointed now. Anyone have a better identifying app recommendation?
