for context, i am 24 and currently living at home attempting to save a very large deposit for a house in the coming 3 years.
i have recently jumped from a £43k per year consulting role to contracting at £550 (outside) per day for 9 months initially. i have secured another 2 year contract with them and a new contract is soon to be sent over.
i know that i am slightly underpaid with other consultants in the same role earing £650+ per day. I have been given nothing but amazing feedback from my customer, and their customer i work for.
i have SC Clearance and require it for my current role
I am tempted to try renegotiate at £650 per day to boost savings but i am wondering if its worth risking the great relationship i have with the business which i feel has much more to offer in the future.
is it sensible or is my imposter syndrome kicking in?
