I picked up these two signed screenprints that came out of the Hewlett-Packard Palo Alto corporate art collection — trying to identify the artist.
Details:
• Both are signed and numbered 1/100
• Medium appears to be screenprint / serigraph
• Approx size: ~19 x 24 inches
• Signature looks like it starts with a “W” (maybe “Wol,” “Wur,” or “Wul”?)
My thoughts:
The style feels very late 90s–90s California / Bay Area — almost like early computer graphics translated into screenprint. It reminds me of early Silicon Valley-era design language.
I’ve tried searching variations of the signature and haven’t had any luck so far. Has anyone seen this artist or style before? Or recognize the signature?
