Hello, I’m an absolute rookie surfer having not surfed for about 10 years, and even when I did, it was only a couple days. I am looking to go to Tofino for the experience and to surf a bit, and I have a couple questions. Should I stay in a camper van and drive with a fairy for a nice road trip? (from Alberta). If I get a hotel there should I go for a surf specific one or just any, and if I don’t get one for surfing how is renting the equipment? I know a should probably get lessons, but do I really need them, I’ve skated and boarded a bit, and im in good shape for surfing. When should I go during the summer? And if anyone has any other information please let me know, thank you!
