Whenever I try to create a new world the game:

returns me to the loading screen at 21% like its the first time i've opened the game

gets me back on the 'create from template' screen

returns me to the loading screen yet again

and the cycle continues like so until I manually alt+f4. (after doing this, my laptop starts having some random crashes - as in make the screen black for .2 seconds then back to normal - for about 2 minutes)

i dont really know if its a storage issue (i have about 20GB left) or a minecraft issue

for the record i tried putting a video but it wont let me attach it (its a .mov file)
