My wife and I are considering a move to the region. I'm looking for a peaceful, well maintained, mature neighborhood with nice homes where prices are more reasonable than say the woodlands or kingwood because of bad schools. We don't have any school age children.

We've explored and really liked idyllwood, but there isn't much for sale. Any other gems like that? We both work remotely so location isn't that important.
