So as the title says: i did an internal interview last Thursday. Yesterday (tuesday) my manager to do a reference on Friday end of day. Manager said she seemed to really like me. I mean she was was already trying to sell me the role, from the start of the interview.

Anyway i didnt get asked for references but yeah she called my manager. I wrote a thank you email on Tuesday, after my manager told me she really liked me. I got no response (Todays Wednesday)

My manager is acting like i have it even asking me to see if i can stay until June at least.

Frustrated because i feel like id at least hear back after the thank u, if they really liked me
