I have done a lot of research and getting ready for my first grow. I know already I'm going to run into challenges just by the way I see plants in others' posts that I would say look wonderful and then more experienced growers will chime in with all the signs of stress they see.

So, for my debate I'm having with myself... I had already spent a lot on equipment so was looking for good 4/20 deals for seeds. I thought Multiverse was reputable and saw a deal that I probably should have recognized as too good to be true but still pulled the trigger and got like 50 seeds for $75. I thought they would be good because they said many were bred by Atlas, who seems to have a good reputation. I then read lots of accusations of this being a cash grab and the seeds I bought could be auto instead of photo, who knows what you're really getting, etc...

So, then I bought some from Humbolt CSI who looks to be universally revered as a great breeder.

As I prepare for my first grow, what would you run? The CSI seeds and hope I don't waste them by fucking it up? Or some of the cheaper seeds while I work out the kinks? I was planning on the latter until I started thinking about 4-5 months being a long time to get subpar quality if I happen to do OK (and really worried about getting an auto when I've focused my research on photos).
