The Wikipedia notes Fagen and Becker as "immediately receptive" to the idea of someone else doing lead vocals (Palmer) for their songs. Why?
They hated the album cover. As well as the Royal Scam's cover. And they hated the first 2 iterations for covers for CBAT as well.
They hated the idea of being a touring group and wanted to stay a studio band with the album's release.
The comments they made on some of the songs seem like they thought the album was too commercial or too radio-friendly? Was it the label's pressure doing all this?
I'm just wondering here at work that if it's a "memorial statue" how would one design it as openable in the least disrespectful way? Where did they build in a hole/lid to get inside the hollow statue?
Do you have to twist Tucker's head off? Is it a latched, shaped lid on the back? The tummy? Tucker's chest? Do you pull the tail down like a lever and it pops the lid open elsewhere?
