Hey all!
I used to be super consistent with the gym for about 4,5 years (til last year). Very disciplined, loved hiking, playing soccer, and staying active overall. But since my partner and I moved in together, I’ve noticed my motivation has really dropped. I haven’t been to the gym in months and haven’t been doing the other activities I used to enjoy either.
I know people joke about the “married/dad bod” phase lol, but I think part of what’s making it harder is that my partner isn’t into fitness or a healthy lifestyle. It’s been challenging trying to stay motivated when we have such different habits.
Has anyone else dealt with this? How do you stay consistent when your partner isn’t on the same page and life gets in the way?
