I still think round 2 was the most chaotic with the most gadget restrictions and before ring engine was added.

The devs are definitely aware how prominent ring engine stacking is currently. Curious if this festival ban is an omen for an imminent nerf.

Would be wild considering how long UC got to stay in the limelight until it got nerfed.

The time trial scene could also be ravaged beyond repair in the event of a ring engine nerf. Unless they also wiped the leaderboards which I doubt anyone would be happy with. Granted, introducing such a meta defining gadget combo months after launch completely overturning time trials in the first place maybe wasn't the best decision. I don't actively play time trials anymore and I'm kind of glad I didn't bother updating PBs.
