Hello! I am 39 years old(m). Last year in November i had an alif 360.(L5-S1 )The recovery was okish , but in February I've started to have increased pain again. In march, i had a ct scan, and the surgeon saw a halo on my l5 vertebra on the left screw. He said that a revision changing the screw will improve my situation. Anyway, I a had the revision and end up changing both of the screw in L5 vertebra. This time, the pain was excruciating after surgery. Almost no med touched the pain. Here i am today , 2 weeks post revision surgery, and today i am suffering a huge amount of pain that it makes feel like i am fainting. My alif cage is almost full of grown bone, but for sure the final process is not done. I don.t know if this is normal recovery post revision or i need to ho to ER. I don't have fever, numbness or neurological issues just severe back and hips pain. Coughing, sneezing, or contracting my abdominal muscles means exarcebating the pain. I wish i would never do this surgery. My pain was also debilitating before, due to degenated disc, but i was still functioning. I could not imagine that o could face even more pain than preop. Or i wish i could benefit from an adr, and not having my back muscles cut for 2 times in 6 months. Is anybody here with some relative issues and end it up well? Do you have any kind of suggestions? i.'ve attached the images of the ct scan taken 2 days after surgery with the screw that was replaced and the cage and bone fusion process and my incision.Thank you!
