Hey all,

Hugely appreciative for all the wisdom that gets shared in this forum.

I'm a team lead in a tech company in customer support (lowest level of management). In the previous two tech companies I worked in, if someone went through a full PIP process and was let go then it was handled either by HR or a combination of HR + senior management.

In my new job it's handled by team leads. Just wondering if this is pretty typical or unusual at all? Thanks!
