Hey everyone, have a final round with a department manager and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced slow and unresponsive HR at TikTok. They never respond to emails and would only email to schedule next rounds. Wanted to make sure that the process is taking a fat minute and that I’m not getting ghosted 😅
Hey everyone, I just finished my 3rd round interview with TikTok for the San Jose location. It was mostly behavioral, and wanted to see if anyone has had a similar experience. One of the first questions they asked was whether I spoke Chinese, so I’m wondering if not speaking the language could impact my application.
The hiring manager then asked about my background and experience. I was able to answer the questions, but I found myself having to repeat my responses multiple times. I’m not sure if it was because they were having trouble understanding me or if my answers weren’t fully addressing what they were looking for. Curious if anyone else has experienced something similar or has any insight.
Just had my round 2 interview with tiktok for a role on Tuesday and have yet to receive an update regarding next steps. For my round 1 interview I got feedback 2 days after so kind of overthinking that I might get ghosted... but I also understand that it has only been 3 days. I've messaged the HR regarding next steps but they never respond but funny enough they always respond quickly to my scheduling inquiries. Does anyone have insight on tiktok's interview timeline?
