Do i really need to to eat 100g of protein?
I'm 170 cm (5'7"), and I weigh 66kg (145 lbs). I've been trying to keep 100g of protein for several months, but I don't think this is working anymore. I feel sick and lifeless eating this; it's like I'm eating junk food every day, and I hate it. I can't eat that many chicken breasts. And I don't want to drink protein powder. I used to enjoy eating, and I eat a lot compared to my friends.
I love working out! it's been really fun. especially front squats, back extensions, and incline dumbbells. I used to work out 5 days per week, but I lowered it to 3 days per week, and it's perfect. Yet whenever I need to think about eating, I just lose my smile and become nothing.
Do I really need to eat 0.7g of protein per pound of body weight? I'm not aiming to become really big like everyone I see at the gym, just enough to feel muscular and stronger than an average person who doesn't work out. I'm not aiming for quick growth. What I want is a smooth and long growth.
