I would like to clarify the correct way to set up an account for a UK Community Interest Company (CIC).

There seems to be conflicting information regarding whether a CIC should be registered as a nonprofit organization or as a standard business (company) on Stripe platform.

Since a CIC has a social purpose but is not technically a registered charity, could you please confirm:

• Should a CIC be classified as a nonprofit or as a business/company during account creation?
• Are there any specific requirements or documentation differences for CICs compared to regular companies?
