In honor of the last night before finding out a decision that will change our lives (literally, regardless of the results). Let’s share some things we learned about ourselves along this process. You can also mention whether you applied to CC or SEAS.

I’ll go first! One thing I learned from this journey is that this process is not only about grades or achievements, but also about understanding who you are, how you think, and what kind of professional you aspire to become. I learned all of these but on a much much deeper level.

Transfer process took me around 2 years of preparation, in terms of taking all required courses and pushing myself everyday towards that dream.

Regardless of the outcome tomorrow, I genuinely want everyone to remember that it was still a privilege to be qualified to apply to Columbia and I hope you enjoyed this journey and it changed something in you, to the better!

Hi everyone! I applied to Columbia Engineering as a Transfer Student in my sophomore year so I will be technically a Junior if I get admitted to FALL 2026. Does anyone know anything about decisions? What are some good signs you got from an AO? How can we try to predict ahead of time lol I am a bit impatient 😭 But I trust God and I know I poured my heart into this application! Any advice from previously admitted students is well appreciated!!
