Asking for Advice on DMCI House Rules Violation (First Time Offense)
Hello po, I’m a tenant at Flair Towers. So I was issued a ticket about counter flowing on the basement parking.
Yes, I admit that I did counter flow and that’s because nagshortcut ako going to my assigned parking area — it was safe and no damage done to the property nor other vehicles. Also po, I assumed it’s okay to do so as long as it’s safe since I saw other drivers doing it and there were no signages stating you can’t.
I asked the PMO to provide me a copy/document stating that I needed to pay a fine but they couldn’t since printing it would be so thick and just told me to download and read the house rules on the app.
I was told to pay a fine of Php 5,000 but based on DMCI Communities site/page it states that PMOs standard procedure is to issue a formal written warning for first time offense. Also, it’s considered a minor offense (based on DMCI’s website).
Do note that I have a clean record and only counter flowed one time.
Currently, I am waiting for them to send me the excerpt regarding the fine. May I ask if owners/tenants experienced the same situation and what they did? Thank you so much!
