So i am planning to get a preowned car eventually found a good deal within my budget.however when I checked the service record in the carfax it says 2020 Sep 28 vehicle serviced(Pre-delivery inspection completed)

So does that mean the car is actually a 2020 model and they are trying to be sell it as a 2021 make?

Also it was the only service recorded i found on the carfax .Ever since, afterwards every year from 2021-2026 timeline It indicates the following

Details:Registration Issued or RenewedFirst Owner Reported

What does it mean?

So my genuine question is it a legit car??

Also dealer ship selling is a different manufacturer if that’s helpful ?
