Hey I’ve been trying to figure out if there are actually any online platforms that offer free shipping for mining equipment purchases or if that idea just doesn’t really apply to heavy industrial stuff like crushers, separators, or drilling rigs.

A few days ago I was talking to a small quarry operator and he mentioned he almost ordered a piece of equipment online because the listing said “low price shipped”, but later when he checked the final invoice the freight cost was basically as high as the machine itself. 

I’ve been browsing different marketplaces and even on Alibaba where you can see a lot of mining equipment listings with factory direct pricing, and sometimes they show shipping terms like FOB, CIF, or “negotiable freight”. Some listings even break down logistics options which helps a bit when comparing suppliers, but I rarely see actual free shipping included for heavy machinery since everything depends on weight, distance, and freight forwarding agreements.

But I’m still not sure if any platforms actually cover shipping in a real way for mining equipment or if it’s always gonna be handled separately with the supplier and shipping agent.
