So confused...

On May 7th, I was added to a Project; I got the email telling me that I was added and I needed to complete the entrance assessment.

I went through all of the project instructions extensively, and I realized that some of the instructions were not yet loaded in properly. There were pages that had missing crucial instruction information.

I promptly sent Handshake support an email letting them know about this issue because the assessment that you need to take only allows for 2 attempts, and on top of that, they were offering a 48 hour time window to earn an extra bonus of $100-- If you pass the assessment after being invited.

I did not want to take the assessment yet, as I was afraid that without all of the instructions, I may fail and use up my 2 attempts. So I waited patiently to hear back from the support team. The next day on May 8th I received an email that I was removed from the project and that it was not anything to do with me personally.

This came as a shock as not even a entire 24 hours had passed since I was invited, but I just let it go.

However, I realized I still had the start page of the entrance assessment open on my computer in one of my tabs. I decided to see if the button would work after I studied up really hard on the current project instructions that I also still have access to.

On my first try, I successfully passed the assessment, not needing to use up my second attempt. On the screen telling me that I passed, I was informed that I would receive a follow up from the project leaders in a day or two and to check the project dashboard as I would get to see updates.

Well, I should have known better because the ptoject was not in my current projects, it is still sitting in the past project section.

I think I deserve to be on this project. Maybe now I do not deserve the $100 offered bonus for this project, but because I passed the assessment, (and on my first try), I deserve to be reinstated back on this project.

I already wrote to the Handshake team, but now i'm going to reach out to the Handshake team on Reddit and see if they're able to help me, because I do not want a lot of time to go by without getting any proper support from, and then my chances of being reinstated on the project are practically zero.

Has anyone else had something similar happen, nd they had a success story?
