I honestly had no idea underground students could have publications, like I was shocked to find out this cycle as I applied to PhD and was living on Reddit, so many undergraduates talking about publications. I mean I know there are research if you contribute deeply and meaningfully enough and stick with it for years like joining 2nd year but I thought it was uncommon, I guess not. So many people have publications, I am shocked, I mean it’s amazing, but damn. I thought it was common for masters but then some people talk about having more than 2-3 publications ofc I am not assuming first author even then wild!
