How come in Telugu films if the lead couple is struggling to have a child, it is always the heroine who is infertile or has a medical complication. It is never the hero. The only men who are infertile in Telugu movies are comedians or supporting characters with negative shades.

Obviously, the recent most infamous example for this is Telusu Kada. But even a progressive film like Ante Sundaraniki where hero lying that he is infertile is a major source of conflict, ultimately it is the heroine who is actually infertile. Not to mention older, dated movies like Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu.
