Any idea about pros and cons. My student is from Massachusetts, so Boston college is close to home.

Boston college is Jesuit and it has good endowment. Poli science major is very strong. But low diversity and I heard that it has a preppy vibe. overall traditional school spirit.

Barnard is all women’s but because of Columbia affiliation many classes are coed. How big those classes are? Is there any problem students are facing or will face because of low endowment and financial problem college is having?

Are both very similar when it comes to career help and internship etc?

any feedback from current or recent student or parent will be really helpful. Thanks a lot!

share some ideas about career perspective and social perspective- which one will be the best choice? my student likes Wellesley but social environment is not very exciting for her, She likes BC for a traditional college experience but not sure about the diversity and rich kid vibe there. Barnard seems like in the middle of this because of Columbia connection.
