I’ve posted before on this trip and I got some very helpful advice so here is my last potential vacation tweak.
We are going to Italy in mid October for 19 days.
Current itinerary:
Rome-5 nights
Naples-2 nights
Florence-5 nights
Bologna-4 nights
Venice-3 nights then fly out of Venice.

I’m thinking about adding a night to Naples and taking one away from Florence. I know a lot of people don’t like Naples but I grew up in Queens and grittiness does not deter me. It just seems like such a vibrant city. Also one of our days will be spent in Pompeii and Herculaneum so that would take away from our time exploring Naples. I can’t change my Bologna dates. Thank you!
