Hi there! Lurker here posting for the first time and unsure on what to do so far.

I called PIP to apply on 05/03/26

Sent online form on 07/03/26

Received text message from Maximus stating they are managing my pip claim on 27/03/26

Received a text stating a health professional is looking at my PIP claim and they will contact if I need an assessment on 27/04/26

It’ll be 9 weeks this week from my submission of the evidence and form etc - uploaded further evidence a few weeks before receiving the health professional text

Is it worth contacting pip or maximus for an update or should I just wait?
