I follow the care tag instructions for my clothes religiously to preserve them.

My heather white cargo sweats that I wash cold and dry on very low have shrunk length wise and width wise. While it is still wearable, the fit on my unwashed blue sweats in the same size is so much better and noticeable.

Why is aritzia not using preshrunk cotton for something so expensive ? Why must we baby sweats and air dry them?

Silk and wool i understand. tags say to hand wash and airdry.

I’m just so frustrated that even with following instructions, shrinkage still happens. I may have to start air drying instead of very low heat going forward.

Do you find that your sweat fleece shrinks too?
