Curious about different salaries in clinical research!
Currently I’m a senior clinical research coordinator in Ontario Canada and I make $95,000 CAD a year. Started as a clinical research assistant (50,000/year then a coordinator 1-3, around 60-75,000/year) Been working on the site side 6 years.
I’ve been a CRC for over 6 years and worked with almost every CRO under the sun. PPD is by far the most headache inducing CRO out there. Every CRA I meet seems like they’re about to pass out from stress and the level of scrutiny they apply to meaningless things is insane to the point my PI is constantly telling them to back off.
having worked with so many different companies at this point and comparing and contrasting I’m just wondering what the culture at PPD is like? It seems miserable from an outsiders POV? Are people at PPD just compensated really well? I can’t imagine so because the turnover rate is nuts. I had 4 different CRAs for a study once in less than a year
