I think I need some advice

I’ve moved to Vienna 6 months ago, I’m a male in my really early twenties and I’m from South America, I moved here because I got a promotion in the company that I was working for back in LATAM (they pretty much have offices literally everywhere) and they got me the visa and they relocated me and everything.

Obviously I’m happy with the opportunity and I’m really thankful bc of course this is a milestone for me but the thing is (besides missing people which I have to say, I think I handle that pretty well) I feel bored bc I struggle A LOT to make new connections here. There are a bunch of factors to consider ofc.

First and foremost: I don’t speak the language and even though most of the ppl here speak English, I assume it’s annoying for them anyways to chat or befriend with me bc I’m literally taking them out of their comfort zone from the very beginning, so even before we start, I already feel like a burden. Plus, I don’t even like the language hence I don’t want to learn it (I’m not saying that I’ll never do it or something like that tho)

Another thing is that I think that I feel and want to feel everything in a “dramatic” way and I think here most of the people isn’t like that. (based on my experience so far) Don’t get me wrong though, I totally respect it but I just thought it would be different.

I’m thinking about staying for a year or something and then find another corpo job in another country in Europe, I thought about Spain, Italy, Malta, Greece and even Australia! But I’m scared that once I leave Vienna, I’ll miss it. I have to say, I really love that everything here works and it’s efficient and it’s just something I learned to really value in these past months.

Just to clarify, yes I do have one or two friends here and there but I’m just used to having lotssss of friends and doing different activities according to each friend group and so on.
