Hey, so I have just started reading the novel (I'm at chapter 110) but the power system isn't really getting to me (what I mean is the powers don't really look that interesting to me right now) and I want you guys to give me some examples of interesting gu powers that will appear later on in the story so I can have something exciting to look forward to (but make sure it's not a very big spoiler and perhaps avoid Fang Yuan's gu as he is the mc)

I know I'm very early in the story and it makes sense that we won't get the super interesting things right off the bat but still it would be good to know as when I try to look up videos about the power system it's always about how it works (which I get already) and they don't really give examples

I asked the black skies, “What is the subreddit?”

"The skies answered in a weary voice, “A reader finishes two thousand chapters in a week, catches up, and stares into the abyss of weekly releases. Then he opens Reddit and writes, ‘Pacing fell off.’ That is the subreddit.”

"The war is over, and the survivors gather beneath a discussion post. One says, ‘The bond was always toxic.’ Another says, ‘You people lack reading comprehension.’ A third has not read the latest chapter, but argues anyway. Their battle shakes the heavens. That is the subreddit.”

“A new reader arrives, excited to discuss shadows, gods, and nightmares. Before he can speak, twenty prophets of doom descend upon him to explain that the story peaked three volumes ago and that everything after was filler. The reader nods slowly. That is the subreddit as well.”

I pondered.

“So… the subreddit is discourse?”

The skies laughed.

“The subreddit is agenda. It is the desire for one’s favorite character to be proven right.”

The skies were illuminated by countless reaction images, titles full of spoilers, and post that gooners call "peak".

Like the flame of insanity had burned in the hideous void, giving birth to a thousand meme posts.
